Travel Insurance

One of our staff members once stepped on a sea urchin in the DR and had to get the pointy bits carved out of her foot for $430 USD – but she didn’t have to pay a dime because she had coverage. It is not a large of money to have to worry about, but what if something bigger happens?

Travel Insurance is extremely affordable – it is kind of silly, really, to take a pass. So, here is what to look for in a good policy:

Emergency Medical

If you get injured or experience a medical emergency while travelling outside of your home province or country. It can also provide coverage for emergency evacuation to return you (and your travelling companion!) home

Trip Cancellation

Have to cancel your trip?! This cover age will reimburse you for non-refundable deposits on pre-paid travel arrangements and cancellation penalties – even those that a transportation carrier or tour guide may charge.

Trip Interruption

This covers you in the event of an illness, injury or other unforeseen event causes you to delay or interrupt your travel plans.

Baggage Loss

We know how often this happens! This is the coverage needed for lost, damaged, destroyed or stolen baggage and personal effects, anywhere in the world, on water, land or in the air. Additionally, coverage for personal necessities if your baggage is delayed.
